A relatively new concept in New Zealand, pervious concrete has been used extensively in the USA for several years.

 

It is a sustainable material used to control water run-off. Water is retained in the porous concrete to percolate down through the base layer of soil. This makes it ideal for situations where run-off needs to be controlled and storm water flow reduced. Pervious concrete is highly porous and has interconnected voids that quickly drain.

Spraycrete
Angus McMillan Concrete has completed many spraycrete jobs such as retaining walls, pools, silage pits for dairy farms and erosion control work for local bodies. Spraycrete can be free formed or screeded to create the look of your choice.

 

Benchtops and Fire Hearths
Bench tops and fire hearths can be constructed on site or off site in our workshop and can be designed to the clients specifications. Clients can choose from a range of colours and finishes, such as frames, aggregate, ground and polished.
