Concrete Projects
We have recently undertaken some large and challenging projects.
Links Road Winery
We have recently finished a project at Links Road Winery to prepare and pour 48 pads for wine tanks to sit on.
This project was undertaken over a period of 4 weeks and involved 35 concrete trucks of cement. The longest day saw our teams onsite at 3am and working through until 11pm.
Cape Kidnappers Golf Course and Accommodation Complex
Construction of this world-rated golf course was begun in 2004. Over the course of the project, Angus McMillan Concrete was involved in many aspects of the development. This included 5 kilometres of cart paths as well as the floor and additional landscaping and access for the Club House.
In 2005, construction began on the accommodation complex, known as The Farm at Cape Kidnappers. A central lodge building, 22 guest suites and an owners cottgage were all constructed on a stunning ridge overlooking Hawke's Bay. Once again, we were involved with all aspects of this project and the significant amount of paths and gardens that connect all the buildings.
This project saw us win both the Supreme Award and the Best Place and Finish Award at the 2008 Master Concrete Placers Association Awards.
