Our Team
Angus McMillan Concrete was established in 1994 by Angus and his wife Carol and run from their rural property on the outskirts of Hastings. In 2001 our business became too big for a backyard, so we moved to a large yard space in Hastings with offices and workshop.
We are committed to the highest industry standards and have been been actively involved in the New Zealand Master Concrete Placers Association since its inception 11 years ago. Angus is currently President of the Association and Carol is the Executive Officer.
The Associations demands that we adhere to a strict standard of knowledge and practical experience. This must be demonstrated - both in terms of workmanship and business acumen. These standards mean our clients can be assured of a professional job in all aspects of their dealings - from quotation through to backup service.
It is also important to us to keep up with the latest technology and trends in the concrete industry. We regularly attend the annual World of Concrete Trade Show in Las Vegas. The show offers new products, demonstrations and seminars, giving us many new ideas and information that we now use in our everyday work.
We are a very family orientated business and employ a large number of staff ranging from excavator operators, boxers, carpenters, concreters, quantity surveyors and sales staff.
We like to think of our company as one big happy family and want our customers to feel comfortable working with us.
